Naruto is one of the most successful anime of the last years, its influence can be compared with other epic anime, such as Dragon Ball. Regardless of comparisons, the truth is that the story of the hyperactive airhead ninja has become a worldwide phenomenon, being one of the best anime for some and overrated for others. If you have not seen this anime, instead of telling you that you will like it, we will tell you some of the main good and bad points of the series, so you can evaluate if you give a chance to this excellent story.

Good points

Story: In Naruto as in any good story, we can see how the main character evolves not only in terms of skills, but of perspective on life, but this is not exclusive to the protagonist, but we will also see how other characters are changing over the years, some becoming bad and others that we did not expect also moving to the side of the protagonist. To this we add a lot of unknowns that appear and are answered as the series progresses.

Characters: Naruto is the undeniable protagonist, but nevertheless much of the story flows thanks to other characters, who often have a more interesting story than the main character. The characters, both good and bad, have complex goals and motivations, seeing life with different perspectives and even at times making us conclude that in reality there are no evil characters, but with different ways of conceiving peace and the means to obtain it.

Combats: In the fights, strength is not everything, the skills in conjunction with intellect make many of the fights of the series are like a chess game, where each party tries to anticipate the other intelligently, giving us several of the best fights in the history of anime.

Bad points

Filler: It is known as filler to those chapters that are not part of the original story, that is, they are not based on the manga, but were created with the aim of preventing the anime from reaching the Manga publication (where the story was more advanced). The quality of the filler is lousy in terms of story, so you might want to check which chapters are filler and skip them.

Dubbing: In Spanish, English and other languages not all chapters have been fully dubbed, and the dubbing of all episodes may never be done.
